SECTION 13 hail from Leamington Spa and herald the long overdue return of Ian Murphy, singer/front man of UKHC punk legends DEPRAVED and VISIONS OF CHANGE. Ably backed up by Si, Matt and jay, SECTION 13 seem to have been on a never ending run of gigs throughout 2009 – but as anyone who has been fortunate to see the band live already will tell you, they are quite simply one of the best live bands out there, in terms of energy and power..

SECTION 13 strip things down and wear their love of US hardcore punk on their sleeves, and all the right reference points can be heard (DAG NASTY, MINOR THREAT, 7 SECONDS etc) – the bands debut “ A Demonstration” CD not only hammers this point home in a compact and powerful fashion, but also serves as a taster for things to come – SECTION 13 head back into the studio shortly, and we can’t wait to hear what they come up with next!
