RIPCORD , along with HERESY and STUPIDS, were pioneers of the late 80s UKHC scene (sharing members at stages with HERESY and NAPALM DEATH) – through their initial “defiance Of power” album on manic Ears and subsequent releases on their own Raging Records label, RIPCORD were best sampled at their ferocious live best!

And that’s what our “LIVE AT PARKHOF ALKMAAR HOLLAND” CD/10” LP release does – a top notch live recording captures the band at the peak of their game at the end of a three week European tour late in 1988 – no fucking around here as the band blast through 17 hardcore classics in under 20 minutes, including an awesome cover of SIEGE’s walls with LEE DORRIAN (NAPALM DEATH / CATHEDRAL) on lead vocals!
