GAN hailed from the throbbing metropolis that was Caistor in North Lincolnshire, and actually made their debut appearance with a track from their demo on our “Floor 81” comp LP we put out way back in 1992.. Following that, there was no stopping them (although I don’t think there would have been any stopping had they not appeared on said comp, truth be told) with the “Do That Again” album on SMR being followed by 7”s on Popkid, Vinyl Japan and Pigdog.. sounding like the mutant offspring of ALL and SCREECHING WEASEL, when they split up in the mid 90s half of them went on to form ONE CAR PILE UP, whilst the other half went on to numerous (mainly Crackle! Based bands) like DONFISHER, OHNO EXPRESS and SERVO..

After talking about it for what seemed like more years than the band was actually together for, Summer 2009 finally saw their complete discography “DO THAT AGAIN?.. AGAIN!?!” finally get the Boss Tuneage Retro Series reissue treatment, and it’s an absolute must for anyone who loves pop-punk in the original sense of the word!
