Can't Decide

I first heard CAN’T DECIDE in the same place I heard many bands for the first time in the late 80s – on the John Peel show. Introducing them as “ex members of HERESY and RIPCORD” it is true to say that I was somewhat taken aback when I heard “Haven’t We Met Before” for that very first time, as what came out of the speakers that night was much more melodic in sound than their previous musical endeavours up to that point, and reminded me a lot of SNFU rather than SIEGE! Of course later on I was to learn that the band members all wanted to have a go at something more melodic, and CAN’T DECIDE reflected that – and what's more delivered!

The next day I ordered the album. In the two years that followed the band released the debut album, the “57911” mini album, and a split 7” with MEATFLY. All the tracks from those, plus the bands original (unreleased) 11 song demo all appear on our discography CD released on the Retro Series. CAN’T DECIDE weren’t around for that long, but they left us with a quite marvellous bunch of songs to remember them by!
