Back in the days before pop-punk became a dirty word, associated with mass produced multinational pop garbage with guitars rather than rocking punk gems with awesome melodies, BIG DRILL CAR were one of the very finest exponents of the craft.. “Batch” and “Album Type Thing” were two absolute must own albums, and still to this day sit proudly in my album racks next to my similarly beloved ALL and DOUGHBOYS albums.. so when word got to me that BIG DRILL CAR were reforming after 15 years for some reunion shows and were recording some new tracks, I knew Boss Tuneage just had to be involved…

So, late 2009 brought the world “A NEVER ENDING ENDEAVOR”.. a 20 track colossus of a collection, featuring 5 brand spanking new BIG DRILL CAR
tracks alongside 15 rare, hard to find and unreleased tracks taken from various demos, comps and singles … you can almost smell the California sunshine when you play this!! Available on CD, and an absolutely beautiful double coloured vinyl LP that is a work of art in itself, let alone the damn fine music on the grooves!
